About Al-Hamra Integrated School

Al-Hamra Integrated School (formerly Al-Hamra International Primary School) was founded in 2019 in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Al-Hamra runs a triple-track curriculum: the Malaysian National Curriculum, Cambridge Assessment International Education, and an Islamic Tahfiz programme in partnership with Akademi At-Taj (established 2016, registered with SSM and JAIS). Students can choose to sit for SPM, IGCSE, or both qualifications alongside Quran memorisation.

The school serves Foundation Stage through Year 11, with 101 to 250 students enrolled. Average class size is 24 students. STEAM-based learning is integrated throughout, combined with sports and martial arts in the co-curriculum.

Curriculum at Al-Hamra Integrated School

The triple-track model at Al-Hamra works as follows:

Malaysian National Track: KSSR for primary (leading to UPSR) and KSSM for secondary (leading to SPM). This satisfies MOE Malaysia requirements for Malaysian students.

Cambridge International Track: Cambridge Primary Checkpoint leading to IGCSE. Students can pursue this alongside or instead of the national examinations.

Tahfiz Programme: Quran memorisation integrated into the timetable through the Akademi At-Taj partnership, registered with JAIS (Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor). Students can combine Tahfiz with either the SPM or IGCSE examination pathway.

The school’s guiding principle is “The heart of education is the education of the heart,” grounded in Al-Quran and Sunnah.

Facilities at Al-Hamra Integrated School

The campus at Encorp Strand Garden Office, Kota Damansara includes a library, science laboratory, sports facilities, IT and computer rooms, and student lockers. The campus is near the MRT Surian station area.
