About Crescendo-HELP International School

Crescendo-HELP International School opened in 2017 in Taman Desa Cemerlang, Ulu Tiram, a township in eastern Johor. The school is a joint venture between two established Malaysian organisations: Crescendo Corporation, a Johor-based property developer, and HELP Education Group, which has been running schools and colleges since 1986.

With over 1,200 students enrolled, Crescendo-HELP is one of the larger international schools in Johor outside of the Iskandar Malaysia zone. The campus sits adjacent to Crescendo International College, creating an education cluster that offers primary through tertiary pathways in one location.

Curriculum at Crescendo-HELP International School

Primary students follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), which uses a thematic, inquiry-based approach to learning. At secondary level, students transition to Cambridge IGCSE, sitting for examinations at the end of Year 11. Sixth form students take Cambridge A-Levels over a two-year programme.

The IPC-to-IGCSE-to-A-Level pipeline means students can complete 13 years of education at Crescendo-HELP without changing schools. A-Level graduates have a direct pathway into Crescendo International College next door, or they can apply to universities in Malaysia and abroad.
