About Idrissi International School

Idrissi International School launched in 2015 as Malaysia’s first eco-Islamic international school. The Setia Alam campus in Shah Alam occupies 7th Avenue, Seksyen U13, in the western Klang Valley. A second campus at EduCity in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru provides a boarding option for families outside the Klang Valley.

MOE Malaysia has awarded Idrissi a five-star SKIPS (Sistem Kualiti Institusi Pendidikan Swasta) rating, the highest tier in the private school quality framework. The school blends Cambridge academic rigour with Islamic values and environmental education, treating ecology as a lens for learning rather than a standalone subject.

Curriculum at Idrissi International School

Idrissi delivers the Cambridge IGCSE pathway with two distinctive layers. The first is a GSA (Global STEM Alliance) and ITEEA (International Technology and Engineering Educators Association) certified STEM programme that integrates technology, engineering, and data literacy across year groups. The second is the eco-Islamic framework, where environmental science, sustainability projects, and outdoor learning are embedded into core and elective subjects alike.
