Imperial International School opened in 2020 on a campus nestled against the Kledang Saiong mountain range in Ipoh, Perak. Founded by Tan Sri Clement Hii, the school was established with the specific aim of delivering Cambridge international education at a price point accessible to Perak families. The mountain setting is integral to the school’s identity, providing natural terrain for outdoor learning, field studies, and experiential education.

Curriculum at Imperial International School

Imperial follows the Cambridge International pathway across three stages. Younger students begin with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), incorporating Finnish Early Years methodology for ages 5 to 7. Primary and Lower Secondary students progress through Cambridge Key Stages 1 to 3. Upper Secondary students sit Cambridge IGCSE examinations, with A-Levels available for those continuing to Sixth Form.
