About Libyan Future Steps Expatriate School

Libyan Future Steps was founded in 2012 to serve the Libyan expatriate community in the Klang Valley. The school is led by CEO Dr. Jumaa ALSeid and holds dual accreditation from Libya’s Ministry of Education and MOE Malaysia.

The school follows the Libyan national curriculum. Instruction is delivered primarily in Arabic with English as a second language. Graduates are prepared for Libyan final examinations and can enrol in Libyan or other Arab universities without additional qualification conversion.

Curriculum at Libyan Future Steps

The Libyan national curriculum covers kindergarten through secondary levels. The school offers both national and international educational tracks. Core instruction follows the Libyan Ministry of Education syllabus with Arabic as the primary medium.

Islamic values and Libyan cultural identity are integrated across the curriculum. The school places strong emphasis on maintaining students’ connection to their cultural and religious roots while living abroad in Malaysia.

The school provides digital infrastructure including e-portals for students, parents, and teachers at school.lfs-edu.my, alongside an e-library facility.

Libyan Future Steps operates two campuses in Selangor:

The MOE registration lists Seri Kembangan as the registered location. The Ampang campus serves families in KL East and the Ampang Jaya corridor. The Kajang campus covers the southern Klang Valley including Kajang, Bangi, and Serdang.

Facilities include equipped classrooms, a sports activities programme, e-library, and safety protocols. The campus is secured with controlled access.

Selangor has 5 registered expatriate schools and 167 private schools total. Libyan Future Steps is one of the few Arabic-medium expatriate schools in Malaysia, alongside Iraqi and other community schools in Kuala Lumpur.
