Nexus International School Malaysia (NISM) opened in 2008 as part of Taylor’s Education Group. The school sits on a purpose-built campus in Presint 15, Putrajaya, serving day students from Nursery through Year 13 and boarders from Year 5 onward. Taylor’s affiliation gives students access to shared resources and direct pathways to Taylor’s University for post-secondary study.

The 2025 IB Diploma cohort averaged 33 points, comfortably above the global average of 30.3. Seven students scored 40 points or higher that year. Curriculum at Nexus International School

Nexus International School delivers three curriculum stages under one roof:

  • International Primary Curriculum (IPC): Nursery through Year 6. Thematic, inquiry-based units covering core subjects in English.
  • Cambridge IGCSE: Years 10-11. Students select from a broad subject menu and sit externally examined papers through Cambridge Assessment International Education.
  • IB Diploma Programme (IBDP): Years 12-13. Six subjects plus the DP Core (Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, CAS). The IB Diploma curriculum page details how the programme is structured.

English is the medium of instruction throughout. Bahasa Malaysia is offered for Malaysian students. The progression from IPC through IGCSE into the IB Diploma means students do not need to switch schools between primary and pre-university.
