Planetarium International School (PISM) opened its purpose-built campus in Taman Pandan Indah, Melaka, in September 2022. The school was founded in July 2020 and spent two years in development before accepting its first intake. PISM covers the full education span from Early Years (age 3) through A-Levels (age 18), making it one of the few schools in Melaka offering a continuous Cambridge pathway under one roof.

The school organises its academic programme around the CLIMATES framework, standing for Communication, Languages, Innovation, Mathematics, Arts, Technology, Engineering, and Science. This framework delivers the Cambridge curriculum with a strong STEM emphasis integrated from the earliest years.

Curriculum at Planetarium International School

PISM structures its Cambridge programme across four levels. Early Years (ages 3 to 6) follows the Cambridge Early Years Framework with play-based and structured learning. Primary (Grades 1 to 6) covers the Cambridge Primary curriculum. Secondary (Grades 7 to 11) prepares students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations. A-Level students in Grades 12 and 13 complete Cambridge International AS and A-Level qualifications for university entry.

The CLIMATES framework threads STEM learning through all four levels. Science and technology labs support practical work from the primary years, while the innovation and engineering components build project-based learning into the timetable. Languages offered include English as the medium of instruction, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin.
