Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS) Tanjung Bungah is the primary and middle school campus of POWIIS, one of Penang’s established British-curriculum international schools. The campus sits in the beachside suburb of Tanjung Bungah on the northern coast of Penang island, serving students from Early Years (age 3) through Middle School (approximately Year 8).

POWIIS operates a two-campus model across Penang island. Younger students attend the Tanjung Bungah campus, then transition to the Balik Pulau campus on the western side of the island for upper secondary and sixth form studies. This split allows each campus to focus on its specific age group while sharing the POWIIS academic framework and teaching standards.
