Sekolah Menengah SRI Showme is a private secondary school in Kuala Terengganu run by Showmekids Education Sdn Bhd. The group draws on Finnish education principles, adapting play-based and student-centred teaching methods to the Malaysian context. Showmekids has grown to 12 branches across Terengganu, Kelantan, and Kuala Lumpur, covering playschool through secondary education. The group also runs early intervention programmes for children with learning disabilities.

The secondary campus sits in Bukit Tok Beng, Seberang Takir, on the northern bank of the Terengganu River opposite the state capital’s town centre. The location serves families across the greater Kuala Terengganu area.

Curriculum at Sekolah Menengah SRI Showme

Sekolah Menengah SRI Showme follows the Malaysian national secondary curriculum (KSSM) with a dual-language programme in Bahasa Melayu and English. Students prepare for PT3 at Form 3 and SPM at Form 5.

The Finnish-inspired methodology shapes how subjects are taught rather than what is taught. The approach values student-led enquiry, collaborative learning, and wellbeing alongside academic targets. Co-curricular activities include sports, robotics, and outdoor programmes.
