Sekolah Rendah Abedeen opened in 2017 and serves students from Year 1 to Year 6 (ages 7 to 12). The school is one of three under the Abedeen Academy group in Cyberjaya. The other two are Sekolah Menengah Abedeen (private secondary, SMIPS code BGAI001) and Abedeen International School (Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels, SMIPS code BUBI003). SR Abedeen follows the Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR) endorsed by MOE Malaysia. Curriculum at Sekolah Rendah Abedeen

The KSSR curriculum at SR Abedeen runs in two phases.

Phase 1 (Year 1 to Year 3): Foundation stage covering basic literacy and numeracy (4M skills), ICT knowledge, and socio-emotional and spiritual development. Subjects include Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics, Physical and Health Education, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Mandarin, and Art.

Phase 2 (Year 4 to Year 6): Application stage that builds on Phase 1 competencies. Additional subjects introduced: Science, History, and Design and Technology (Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi). Students sit for internal school-based assessments throughout, with the national UPSR examination at Year 6.

The school uses the Abedeen Thematic Learning approach, which integrates Islamic values across all subjects rather than isolating religious education into standalone periods. Languages taught at SR Abedeen are Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin, and Arabic.

Graduates of SR Abedeen can continue to Sekolah Menengah Abedeen (Form 1 to Form 5, KSSM national curriculum with SPM) or transfer to Abedeen International School (Cambridge IGCSE pathway). This dual pathway within the same campus is a specific feature of the Abedeen Academy group.

SR Abedeen admits students into Year 1 (age 7) through Year 6 (age 12). The private/Malaysian programme intake runs in January each year. Families applying for the Abedeen International School division follow a September intake.
