About Sekolah Rendah SRI KDU

Sekolah Rendah SRI KDU was founded in 2003 and is part of the Sri KDU education group, which also operates Sri KDU International School (established 2011) on the same Kota Damansara campus.

SR SRI KDU follows the Malaysian National Curriculum (KSSR) enhanced with Cambridge Primary Science Curriculum, Singapore International Curriculum for lower primary Mathematics, and Cambridge English Primary Curriculum for upper primary English. Mandarin is compulsory as a third language for all students. The school is recognised by UNESCO and WWF.

Approximately 2,000 students are enrolled in the private national school. Maximum class size is 28 students. The academic year runs February to January.

Curriculum at Sekolah Rendah SRI KDU

The triple-curriculum blend at SR SRI KDU works as follows:

Primary (Year 1-6, KSSR): Core Malaysian National Curriculum subjects enhanced with Cambridge and Singapore elements. Students sit for UPSR at Year 6.

Enhanced subjects: Cambridge Primary Science replaces the standard KSSR science track. Singapore International Curriculum applies to lower primary Mathematics. Cambridge English Primary Curriculum covers upper primary English. Mandarin is taught to all students as a third language.

Secondary pathway (Form 1-3): Cambridge Lower Secondary runs alongside KSSM for English, Mathematics, and Science. Students continue to PT3 (Form 3) and SPM (Form 5).

Students at SR SRI KDU can also transfer to the Sri KDU International School track (British National Curriculum, IGCSE, A-Levels) with A-Level merit scholarships up to 80%.

Annual educational trips include museums, theatres, parks, and farms. Leadership camps and student exchange programmes are part of the co-curriculum. Three-way parent-student-teacher conferences are held three times per year.

Discounts: Sibling discount of 5% (2nd child), 10% (3rd child), and 15% (4th child onward). Alumni children receive 20% off annual tuition for the first year.

Facilities at Sekolah Rendah SRI KDU

The Kota Damansara campus includes air-conditioned classrooms, an art room, science laboratory, library, music room, teaching kitchen, sports field, sports hall, swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court, tennis court, and canteen.

Operating hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The campus is accessible from the DASH highway and near MRT Surian and Kota Damansara stations.
