About Ming Lik Secondary School

Ming Lik Secondary School (民立中学, 砂拉越泗里奎民立中学) is the only Chinese independent high school in Sarikei, a riverside town on the Rajang in central Sarawak. Founded in 1967, it has served the local Chinese community for more than five decades and draws students from Sarikei town and the surrounding district. It is a private school run by a school board, separate from any government national-type secondary school of a similar name.
