Fairview International School is Malaysia’s longest-established International Baccalaureate (IB) World School network, founded in 1978. The Wangsa Maju campus in Kuala Lumpur is the flagship and the original campus. Over nearly five decades, Fairview has expanded into a five-campus network spanning the Klang Valley, Perak, Penang, and Johor. Every campus is an authorised IB World School delivering the same inquiry-based framework.

The Wangsa Maju flagship has the longest track record in the network and the broadest facilities. It is the only Fairview campus that offers the full IB continuum: PYP, MYP, and the IB Diploma Programme. Boarding facilities are available, making the flagship accessible to families from outside the Klang Valley.

The network also operates an Eduresort campus in Port Dickson for residential outdoor education and maintains a Scotland campus for international exchange programmes.

The Ipoh campus is the only IB World School in Perak and the most affordable IB option in Malaysia. The Pasir Gudang campus near the Singapore border serves cross-border families from Singapore who want IB education at Malaysian fee levels. The Wangsa Maju flagship remains the only campus offering the full IB Diploma pathway.

Curriculum at Fairview International School

Fairview delivers the full IB continuum at the Wangsa Maju flagship: PYP (Primary Years Programme) for early years and primary, MYP (Middle Years Programme) for lower and upper secondary, and the IB Diploma Programme for pre-university. The IB framework emphasises inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary thinking, and the development of internationally minded students.

Admissions at Fairview International School

The Wangsa Maju flagship accepts applications for all IB programmes from early years through the Diploma. Campus tours are available for prospective families. Boarding applications are handled separately. Families considering Fairview can also apply to other campuses in the network and transfer later, since IB curriculum continuity is maintained across all five campuses.
