About Hin Hua High School

Hin Hua High School (Sekolah Menengah Hin Hua) is a Chinese Independent High School in Klang, Selangor. It was founded on 15 June 1947 by a group of Klang Chinese parents, teachers, and students, opening with 209 students in atap-roofed buildings under its first chairman Loo Keat Poh and principal Zhang Lian Zong. From that start the school has grown to around 3,000 students across Junior Middle and Senior Middle levels, making it one of the larger members of the Chinese Independent school network in Selangor. It is one of four Chinese Independent High Schools in the state.

The school sits on Persiaran Raja Muda Musa in the southern part of Klang. Alongside academics, Hin Hua has hosted national-level STEM and programming events, including the National Secondary School Programming Contest Grand Final in 2023.
